Got this book from B for Christmas. Just found out that she was NOT going to start making bread from it until “I” did first.  Fortunately for both of us, she did not have to wait long.

We have made several of the breads out of here including an Oatmeal wheat and a Portuguese cornbread.  They are all pretty simple really.  The best (and most different part) is that you do not need to really knead the dough.  You mostly mix the ingredients quickly and then wait for it to rise.  You can bake right away or await a few days with the dough in the fridge and make more later.

We are currently on a quest to make all of our own bread each weekend and eschew buying the bread each week.  Wish us luck!!
