It is true. You can go skiing less than one hour from our house. I went on Thursday for about 3 hours. It is not the greatest skiing in the world. In fact, it is basically two bumps, BUT the cost was 20RMB to enter the park and 120RMB for three hours of skiing, AND the rentals. I knew I was in the wrong place when I was the only one wearing my own ski clothes and not the orange and blue rented uniform. For those of you not in China, 140RMB is $17.5. Less then $20 bucks I can ski for half a day after a short ride up the street. I know now where I am going to learn to board.
